As you can see, I am back at work. The “SMR" stands for Student Management Room, but we all know it as the In-School Suspension Room! It is full of red and Mary Engelbreit so it’s pretty perky to be a place for punishment. The white walls are just to bare without lots of red in there. Soon I will be posting the precious banner Elizabeth from over at “Creative Breathing" sent me. Roy, are most special and helpful custodian, is going to mount it on the wall so I can look at it all day long. I cannot wait. When you all see it, you will understand why it puts such a big smile on my face. AGAIN, THANK YOU VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH, ELIZABETH!
Great reds for today's feature. At least things will be brighter with your reds hanging around.
ReplyDeleteThanks, LV for the kind words. The red really does brighten it for me and the students.

Girl! You have some serious Reds going on there. How fabulous that you get to have them at work with you all day. I'm sure it makes your place just that much sweeter to be sitting in.

I love how nowadays the suspension room is called the student management room! Too funny. I think we've all spent some time in that room for one reason or another, but it looks and sounds like you're going to make it look bright and cheery and happy, especially with the banner from Elizabeth. I'm thinking the time is going to go by alot faster for the kids and teachers!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday!

Your reds should brighten up the spirit in that room. Can't wait to see the banner.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my "skinny apple tree" blog....from the comments I am thinking these trees are more common and popular on the west coast, all tho' they should grow any where. Happy Rednesday and Happy Back-to-School, I just want to know where the summer went!
ReplyDeleteRed is my favorite. Thanks for visiting my blog today. If you look at my blog posting the link for the best tutorial out there on making book page wreaths is on there.

Oh I just love red in my classroom. My entire front wall is red paper! The kindergarteners LOVE it. I have the most colorful classroom - and lots of ME stuff, too. It makes it sooo much fun, doesn't it! I love, love, love your blog - and am off and skipping to look around your space for awhile! Hugs, Patti
