Ruby Tuesday ~ 1-11-11 and Rednesday ~ 1-12-11


The Old Stonewall Service Station

About a quarter of a mile up the mountain from our house sits this old service station. It is such a wonderful part of the local color, and the the family who owns the property keeps it painted and in good condition. From time to time they will rent it, but much of the time they just use it for storage.

    I love seeing old houses or buildings, but hate seeing them run down. Glad these folks are keeping this one in good condition. The red truck sets everything off.

    I adore these rural scenes that are quickly disappearing. Somehow, the Ralphs don't disappear.
