A Little Bit of Homemade Red and Pink

For the past several several I have been making little Valentine’s gifts for my friends here in town and for some of my blogging pals. After seeing the cutest pattern on the internet for coffee cup cozies I decided to give them a try. They are such fun to make, and I really love mixing and matching the different colors. They are all reversible with bottoms on each side and a stretchy band that will work on either side. The other thing I have been making is a tea or coffee cup felted coasters. The one pictured here is going to my doctor’s nurse here in Lexington along with one of the cozies. If you would like to make some for yourselves here is the link to them at House on the Hill.

This post is linked to:  Ruby Tuesday, Rednesday, and Pink Saturday.

  3. Very creative, and colorful. Environmentally friendly, this is a very good way to help save the planet, one coffee cup at a time. Instead of those cardboard ones.

    A delightful gift to receive.

    I'll have to come back and visit to see what else you have sewn.

    A DAMSEL WHO LOVED SHADES OF RED

    A damsel who loved shades of red
    Discovered she’d been sore misled;
    She had no more rose,
    Nor blush for her nose—
    If she finds the thief, the guy’s dead!
