What is pink, has a great big room on the front, and boasts 3 garage doors on the side?

That was fun. I never guessed but it sure is pink.
ReplyDeleteThat firehall is amazing and the town sounds very charming; makes for some interesting history! Thanks for sharing and for stopping by. Happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
I don't know if I've ever said Fire House and pretty in the same sentence. I like the color, my hubby is a retired paramedic/fireman--I don't think he would like it so much.
ReplyDeleteMr. Lion is doing great here, he's gotten plenty of attention from visitors. I tell them his history and they think that's pretty cool.
Have a great Pink Sat.
Ann
Oh, this building is a wonderful Pink Saturday surprise.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your nice comments on my post. You know I am 62 and learning Photoshop has been a challenge. I have been working on Photoshop for over a year now. So when I took Kim's class I was very familiar with the concept of layering. Back in 1978 I worked on computers for Xerox, so computers are in my blood.
I found that I have to keep trying the layering over and over before I get it. Some of the techniques that Kim shared are wonderful, but I move more slowly these days. I will put all those shortcuts for a later day, and just focus on playing with the buttons to get myself familiar with the effects.

I wonder who chose the color? A wife perhaps. It was fun seeing a pink firehouse.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday Genie Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful share this evening. I love the pink bricks, and how wonderful to house the volunteer fire department. I mean pink is a shade lighter of the red. (It's ashame they don't have a pink fire truck though.)
Thank you for taking me along this evening through the beautiful town of Goshen, Virginia.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Now that is one Pink Building! So cool!

How very charming!! I do love a small-town (volunteer?) Fire Department. I hope they have fund-raising suppers and drive the kids around on the truck after, and check up on old Mrs. Phelps when they haven't seen her at the Post Office for a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteThis may be my favorite PINK post today! Just wonderful---picture and reality.
Hi Genie, So nice to meet a fellow Virginian (ha! is that a word?). A pink firehouse....how unusual and perfect for Pink Saturday! I was over at your photo blog too. Great stuff! Happy Pink Saturday. xo

Good Morning, went out yesterday after I posted my PS pictures, so I didn't have time to respond until today. A little late, but will work at answering everyone:-)
ReplyDeleteI would be more than happy to help you out with layering. I have not used Elements, but I think I can help you. I am assuming that Elements and Photoshop must work a lot alike. I will give you my email address so it will make it easier for you to communicate with me. Ask away!!! I may not get back to you that second, but I will answer. I will see if we have a copy of Elements at school; I know the Photography teacher used to use that until he started using the Photoshop CS4 Suite that we have available to us. My email is cindylewsstudio@gmail.com just start asking and I will see if I can help. I am so happy that you took up blogging. My mother-in-law is in her 70’s also and uses the computer every day. She just got an iPhone 4 last month and is as happy as can be. I love it when people of all ages embrace technology. I love my art, but I also love my electronics:-)
Hope I can help you out, and don’t hesitate to ask questions, because if I ever get a good camera I may ask for help. I really want one of those new Nikons.
Warm Wishes, Cindy
Oh, what a charming image … and place!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your well wishes on my sister's BD party. My sister's party was wonderful and she loved every minute of the fun, food and most of all, her family and friends who attended.
