M.E. Monday ~ 3-14-11

This week I received my first package of scraps from one of my partners in Linda’s Scrap Swap over at a Swap for All Seasons. My partner was Carolina Moore out in Las Vegas.Be sure to check out her blog. When I opened the postal service envelope I almost did flips right there on the side of the road I was so excited. She had looked at my blog and decided it was time to pass on her left over Mary Englebreit fabrics to me. She sent me big pieces and little pieces, and I am overjoyed. After a bit, I decided I just had to use the “queen” fabric on my little kitchen table. It is covered in glass so I hope I will not soil it before I can cut out the different sections and applique them to something. Next week I will share with you the rest of the fabrics she sent me.

Happy M.E. Monday to all of you.
Stop by Cherry Chick Jewelry to see other M.E.Monday posts. Vicki is our host, and she has more M.E. goodies than anyone else I have ever known.

  2. Sweet Genie....Boy did you hit the Mother lode! What a perfect piece of fabric for you. I look forward to seeing the other pieces for weeks to come. Again...I'm so envious of your checkerboard kitchen floors.
Thanks so much for sharing with us for ME Monday.
    Hugs....

  3. Hello, I hope you don't mind me being nosy and reading your message to Donnie; but I see you are taking that Photoshop class. Please let me know if you need help, because that is something I can and would be more than happy to help with. I never thought of doing a class on line for that. I should though, because Photoshop CS3 is what I teach my students. Are you learning Elements or straight Photoshop? Let me know if you need help or just have a question. I am off work this week, so I will just be working on my crafts. I tried to organize today....... why????? I just have too much stuff. I am going to have to give some of it away I think.

See what goes around comes around:-)) I just smile when I stop by your site. I cannot help but love your colors and now your kitchen. I so love dots and ME stuff:-)

    Have a wonderful week.
    Warm Wishes, Cindy

  4. Genie, how wonderful to receive ME fabrics of any size. The large piece is perfect for a table. You may want to reconsider cutting it up, although those large designs would be great to applique. I'll be eager to see what you do with your new fabric treasures. ~ Sarah

  5. Genie, I left a comment earlier but I don't think it went through.
This is a terrific gift. How wonderful to get ME fabrics, whatever the size. I think I might just keep the larger piece for the table, though the large designs would make wonderful appliques. ~ Sarah
