When I go to visit my dearest friend in Asheville, NC, the first thing I see as I start up her driveway is a beautiful Rose of Sharon bush. It is very big, and its blossoms are the most gorgeous blend of pinks and white I have ever seen. Even though these photos were taken on my last trip to see her, I thought it would be nice to post them now since it is that time of the year we are all starting to think SPRING!

Hi Genie: I love Rose of Sharon trees. Growing up, there was one in my backyard.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and for your sweet comments about my vintage books. GO right ahead and make up some of your own. I'd be glad to have influenced someone. I've been seeing versions of these all over blogland so it's not original to me ;)
Happy PS
