My office, crafting room, and my library/fabric room are all upstairs. I got so tired of going back and forth up and down our steep and narrow farmhouse steps that I decided to recoup and try to get my working stash downstairs. I found these containers at Lowe’s for 5 for $5.00, and I bought a mess of them. It has certainly simplified my life though I am not getting the exercise I was getting hoofing it up and down the steps all day long.

Aughhhh I bet it feels so good to have it all organized like that....and now so handy! (PS I'm a Mary E fan too!!!)
ReplyDeleteGreat organization bins!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are very organized! I try to clean up my sewing place every week, but the day after cleaning it's a mess again :)
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks!
Gotta love the 5 for $5 boxes for getting your stash organized. Nice-looking blocks! That second to the last red/white one is a particularly happy block.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaah, Genie, I love your organization! It's so much nicer (not to mention *easier*) to work when everything's in its place, isn't it??! Your blocks are looking fabulous--I really love the vintage BOM blocks!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go on getting organized. I so would love to have a big room for all my stuff. I have it down in the basement and it is not a pretty basement. Plus, I hate not being able to see outside.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are very pretty, I especially like the purple tic-tac-toe one. Organization is one of my pet peeves as well! I have taken over the dining room and have some storage in a room above the garage. I tend to forget what's up there!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are lovely and the fabrics are perfect for each one. Love the purple and the red ones. It's so freeing to have a tidy space. Happy sewing this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat price for organizers! Looks like you have everything you might need right there.
