Pink Saturday ~ 3-12-11

My Pink and Green Quilt
The shamrocks are not actually on the quilt...just an added touch for our pink and green Pink Saturday

May your blessings
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

  3. I would have believed the shamrocks were actually on the quilt. How did you do that? That quilt is awesome and yeah I really like it without the shamrocks. I made two quilts in my life. One was my children's colored drawings on white cottong squares (I used wax paper and transfered the drawings to the cloth and then squares of blue floral. It was a gift to my parents and they loved it. It was far from perfect, but that their grandchildren had made the drawings, they never saw the imperfections of the squares and such. The other one was for my son who loved baseball at the time. He kept that for ages, until it was falling apart. So I know all the work that goes into a really lovely perfect quilt. Oh yes, your sweet comment on my blog touched my heart. I have always written in notebooks etc and would love to write a book. I sincerely appreciate your thoughts. Blessings on your week.

  4. I'm like Lynn...wondering how you superimposed the shamrocks on the quilt photo. Cute post.

  5. Nancy: No, they are not real. I added them through Photoshop Elements 9.

Lynn and Donnie: Thanks for the visit. I did it through Photoshop Elements 9. If either of you have that program, I will be happy to lead you through the steps.

  6. Anything to do with quilts is right up my ally. I love them and have more than I need. Yours is a very pretty design. The little shamrocks just give it a nice touch.

  7. Good Morning,

Every time I stop by your blog it just makes me happy to see the wonderful colors.

Didn't get a chance to respond yesterday because I was busy and seems like there is always so many beautiful pink things to look at, besides for everything else that is ones site.

Thanks for stopping. Have a wonderful day.

    Warm Wishes, CindyLew
