Pink Saturday ~ 3-19-11

Just a Little Pink from Rockbridge Middle School, Fairfield, VA

Gretchen’s science papers....I taught her when she was in the 6th grade, and now she teaches science next door to me. How time flies when you are teaching school!

The bulletin board outside the library...Easter is just around the corner.

  7. Love the pretty bulletin board! I also think that is a great testament to have one of your former students teaching in a class room next to you! I am sure you inspired her to become a teacher like yourself!!

  9. This is a sweet post about teaching. And yes, time flies. The bulletin board is so pretty. I believe children thrive and good things to look at. Very nice.

  10. Must be so rewarding to look next door and see a former student teaching! I am sure there are many, many days, when you wonder if anyone really cares about learning, then.....just look next to you and you know the answer is YES. So many of us don't have that confirmation, no matter what we do that we want to pass on in another life, so cherish that young teacher and keep up the great work. Blessings on your week.
