It is M.E.Monday again, so jump on over to Vicki’s Cherry Chick blog and check out all the cute M.E. items we are all sharing this week.
Friday as I was leaving for work, I found a SPEIAL package in my mailbox from Little Miss Cherry Chick. She had sent me the cutest care package consisting of 2 sets of M.E. placentas - a pastel set of fried eggs ones and another set of the Home, Family, Love, Friendship ones. In addition to those, she put in a blue cozy with cherries on it, a package of M.E. themed alphabet letters and some other pictures. The “Oh No!” card she enclosed was the cutest thing.
Well, I could’t let them sit there on the table to I decided to get creative and use the placentas as if they were pictures under the banner Elizabeth over at Creative Breathing had sent me for my room. Here is what that wall is looking like now thanks to two very kind and thoughtful friends. Once again, all I can say to you gals is....Thank You and I Love You Both!
The other M.E. item I want to share with you all tonight is an old deck of her playing cards - I am a compulsive Solitare player - hidden in the back of one of my “junk” drawers. I was searching for a missing pair of my glasses when I discovered the missing deck of cards. The number cards are nothing out of the ordinary, but the Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Jokers are really cute.
So cute. You are going to have that room too inviting. It will make the kid want to go there.......I don't think that is what is supposed to happen, right. Why not. Check out my ME post......post to be.
ReplyDeleteGenie, How absolutely perfect these place mats look on your classroom wall. They really do add charm! Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and leaving such great tips. I have looked at both of your ideas and both are super. Eloise was one lucky girl! Have a lovely holiday weekend! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteOh! Ms. Genie the placemats are a wonderful touch to you ME wall at school. I chuckled out loud when I saw that you had left us a "sign" with the little ME letters. Too cute! The playing cards are darling and I've never seen them before. Someday we will play a card game together with them. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about being so late with my post tonight but I think you'll find it's worth the wait.
Hugs...Vicki
I love the playing cards. You reminded me, I think I might have a checkers game. I'll have to go look now. Thank you for the close-up of the banner. It makes those cinderblock walls look spectacular. I like what you did with the placemats too. What a fun post!
ReplyDeleteWhat ELisabeth should have said was "COZY BLANKET" was what she pulled out, hah.
